GOD IS GREAT ~ GRANDE É O SENHOR (port. em baixo)

I read this Psalm today and just pondered on all the attributes of God in it. I want to live every day with these attributes firm in my heart. God is awesome, His greatness no one can fathom! He is rich in love, compassionate, gracious, faithful, loving, righteous, near, He upholds those who fall, lifts up those who are bowed down, satisfies the desires of our hearts, hears our cry and watches over us.

We cannot feel or live these attributes of God in our lives unless we give Him room! We cannot experience God's love or power, unless we accept it whole heartedly and surrender all of ourselves to Him.

Lord, open the flood gates of heaven in my life...I want to know You and live in Your freedom and power.

Psalm 145
A psalm of praise. Of David.

I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.
Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
One generation will commend your works to another;
they will tell of your mighty acts.
They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty,
and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
They will tell of the power of your awesome works,
and I will proclaim your great deeds.
They will celebrate your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
The LORD is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and rich in love.
The LORD is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made.
All you have made will praise you, O LORD;
your saints will extol you.
They will tell of the glory of your kingdom
and speak of your might,
so that all men may know of your mighty acts
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations.
The LORD is faithful to all his promises
and loving toward all he has made.
The LORD upholds all those who fall
and lifts up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.
You open your hand
and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
The LORD is righteous in all his ways
and loving toward all he has made.
The LORD is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.
He fulfills the desires of those who fear him;
he hears their cry and saves them.
The LORD watches over all who love him,
but all the wicked he will destroy.
My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD.
Let every creature praise his holy name
for ever and ever.

Eu li este Salmo hoje e refleti sobre cada atributo de Deus nele. Quero viver cada dia da minha vida com estes atributos firmes em meu coração. Deus é maravilhoso, Sua grandeza ninguém consegue entender! Ele é misericordioso, compassivo, paciente, transbordante de amor, bom para todos, fiel, bondoso, justo, Ele ampara o que cai, levanta o prostrado, supre no tempo certo, satisfaz o desejo do coração, está perto do que o invoca e cuida dos que o amam!

Não podemos viver ou sentir estes atributos de Deus em nossas vidas a não ser que damos espaço para Ele! Não podemos experimentar o amor e o poder de Deus a não ser que aceitamos de todo o coração e rendemos TODA a nossa vida a Ele.

Senhor, derrame sobre mim a Tua vida, quero te conhecer e viver na Tua liberdade e no Teu poder!

Um Cantico de Louvor

Eu te exaltarei, meu Deus e meu rei; bendirei o teu nome para todo o sempre!
Todos os dias te bendirei e louvarei o teu nome para todo o sempre!
Grande é o Senhor e digno de ser louvado; sua grandeza não tem limites.
Uma geração contará à outra a grandiosidade dos teus feitos; eles anunciarão os teus atos poderosos.
Proclamarão o glorioso esplendor da tua majestade, e meditarei nas maravilhas que fazes.
Anunciarão o poder dos teus feitos temíveis, e eu falarei das tuas grandes obras.
Comemorarão a tua imensa bondade e celebrarão a tua justiça.
O Senhor é misericordioso e compassivo, paciente e transbordante de amor.
O Senhor é bom para todos; a sua compaixão alcança todas as suas criaturas.
Rendam-te graças todas as tuas criaturas, Senhor, e os teus fiéis te bendigam.
Eles anunciarão a glória do teu reino e falarão do teu poder,
para que todos saibam dos teus feitos poderosos e do glorioso esplendor do teu reino.
O teu reino é reino eterno, e o teu domínio permanece de geração em geração. O Senhor é fiel em todas as suas promessas e é bondoso em tudo o que faz.
O Senhor ampara todos os que caem e levanta todos os que estão prostrados.
Os olhos de todos estão voltados para ti, e tu lhes dás o alimento no devido tempo.
Abres a tua mão e satisfazes os desejos de todos os seres vivos.
O Senhor é justo em todos os seus caminhos e é bondoso em tudo o que faz.
O Senhor está perto de todos os que o invocam, de todos os que o invocam com sinceridade.
Ele realiza os desejos daqueles que o temem; ouve-os gritar por socorro e os salva.
O Senhor cuida de todos os que o amam, mas a todos os ímpios destruirá.
Com meus lábios louvarei o Senhor. Que todo ser vivo bendiga o seu santo nome para todo o sempre!
